[NEWS] Taeyang’s ‘INTRO (RISE)’, Crush’s ‘Give It To Me’, and more deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS

KBS has once again deemed a list of songs inappropriate for broadcast, and among them is Taeyang’s “INTRO (RISE)” from his 2nd full-length album ‘RISE’.

According to the results of their music content review, KBS pointed out the curse word, “fxxk”, in the lyrics of “INTRO (RISE)”, making it unsuitable for public broadcst. KBS also banned Crush‘s “Give It To Me” (Feat. Jay Park, Simon D) due to its sexually explicit lyrics and curse words.

ZIZO‘s “Dream” also got a slap on the wrist by KBS for the use of the word ‘byungshin’ (which is used to say ‘moron’ or ‘idiot’ but it can also mean a handicapped person) as it was determined to be demeaning to handicapped people. Shim Jae Kyung‘s “Love Calculation” was also deemed unfit for broadcast for the use of a Japanese term.
